I tried and failed to grind T92 in time, I was 11,000 exp short Sad

Now I'm sat at work knowing the last top tier arty I need to buy will cost me a fortune Smile

+ you will have to start grind the exps fully from start, as they swap researech vehicals to mach the new tech trees.

First impressions;

Sold my M40/43, aim circle was a piss take (room for 5 or 6 heavies inside the circle or two barns) and even fully zoomed in on a Batchat arty I missed 5 shots, not even a splash!

Keeping the GWType E100, one game, two IS7's one shotted, so it still rocks!

French tier 6 arty still ok and GWPanther still the king of arty Smile

Probably selling Grille and SU26 to try the new Russki arty and tier 5 German.

The super heavy spall liner I tested by driving my E100 straight at 5 arty, Object 261 hit me twice and the rest hit me once, all for HE damage and I only lost radio operator and 30% health. Maus I forgot to put it on, doh! Still nowhere near as much arty damage though.

Cool, wouldn't touch M40 with a shitty stick so that's good news. Will waits and see what the Object 261 and Batchat 155 perform like, although a 72 second drum reload is taking the piss.

i don't need to wait for aiming ... just look and fire ....
and kv2 is monster in game..... 3 time face kv2 in long range ... all of them just look at me and fire ... boom .... and matilda won't have chance to shine anymore .... all tank can moveshot and don't need to even worred about old shine tank anymore ......what do they think when they release this update ...... :/

2). Copy your mods folder before the update to another location. Run the update. Copy the old mods folder back into the updated client and rename with the new version number.

4). "Reactivate" your mods by running the WOT Mods Installer

Tested:
AMX 105 AM (French T5): nothing like the old T4, slow reload, big aiming retical (like old M12 (T6) used to have) and low accuracy (again like the M12). At least its mobility was left.
Su-8 (Russian T6): range boost (so far 1.2 km still good (old 0.9km max), reload (looong), accuracy low, but when it hits those T6-7, they end.
M40/43 (US T8): yes aim circle is doubled (as for all arties I tested), reload looks like old T92 , but accuracy does not matter when splash hits, even successfully self-defended myself against type 59 Smile

None of the new once tested yet.

In general, they suggest we hit more in the center of the aiming circle, but they double its size so you hit quiet same as in the old times. They quiet enlarge the max aiming size (at least for the bigger arties), so no surgical hits anymore. And hitting moving target seems to be more luck then skill if target is not heading towards or from you. So keep moving sideway, when dodging arty shells and you will be much safer.

And is it just me, or they largely boost money earning for T8-9 (except arty).

Had a few more games now and apart from the US arty it's not much of a nerf really, for me anyway. The lower tier arty just need to be played like the higher tier stuff now and the big bonus is most of the time it only takes one shot to kill same tier stuff Smile

Although it would appear I'm in the minority here since there was bugger all arty round below tier 8 yesterday evening and loads of useless drama queens were announcing they sold all their arty Rolling Eyes
