told you that surviving AFKers made more exp than bad players, you asked screenshots and I got some.

Valiant AFKer (he did turn his turret to make him seem online)

It would be much more informative if we could actually see the details.

I had games where I died in the first seconds by an arty blind shot and got 200 xp when my team won.
I also had games where I drowned accidentally in the first 30 seconds (no red dots yet) and received 200+ xp.

Considering that some people manage to get less for active playing, and as long as grinding is the game content, I can't even blame them for botting/AFKing.

The reason why the afk tank got more exp was because he survived, which earns small exp bonus.

I once accidentaly drowned myself in the very beginning of the match and we won. In the end, for doing absolutely nothing (except giving my crew a bath ) I got more xp than half of the enemy team. Definitely stupid if you ask me.

P.S. Not to mention that an enemy that does 300 dmg and wins will get more xp than you that lost and did 2000 dmg.

The explanation may be right there - if he was AFK and the enemy capped he might have gotten XP for first spotting and / or damge after spotting. But of course it is impossible to tell exactly without the details for the player in that battle.

Afk player only got hit once, nothing else. Can't really think of a any reason other thank tank specific exp factor, but last time I heard WG denied those.

I think Kawa hit the nail on the head in that shoutbox thiny earlier: you get - XP for missing a shot: don't shoot, no minus.
