I'm sort of impressed someone has managed to basically port WoT into the Unity engine and make it playable through a browser... but I predict it won't be long for this world, it is just such a straight copy/paste...

Ok. so does it say something good about the Unity engine or something bad about the Bigworld engine or both? Smile

It probably says more good about Unity than the other thing, though obviously it has its' limitations. I actually played BSG Online for a little while until the bugginess forced me to quit, and it is very very good for something that works through a browser.

BigWorld, well, I guess it saved WG a lot of time and money buying an off-the-shelf solution, but they're as aware of the limitations as anyone (which one can only assume was a primary driver in their acquisition of the company). The War Thunder engine in contrast was developed initially by Gaijin themselves, then spun off as a subsidiary, so as far as that goes they're in a much better position than WG - and comparing WT and WoWP, the difference is very noticeable in things like map sizes, graphics capabilities, and even some areas of gameplay.
