Military Tactics

Okay, as an instructor I've been having this idea:

Writing some Military Tactics and Maneuver Warfare used in the past by great generals and leaders.
These will be in the General Guides section I think.
These can be used as a guide for CW/TC, for self-learning or even just for fun.

Tactics discussed will include:
- Blitzkrieg
- Pincer Movement
- Flanking Maneuver
- Tactical Reserve
- Defeat in Detail
- Combined Arms
- Charge
- Feigned Withdrawal
- Counter Attacking
- Bulge Warfare (Penetrating Attack)
- Hammer and Anvil
- Shock and Awe
- Flying Wedge
- Pakfront
- "Pulling the Line" (by Alexander the Great)

Any suggestions will be considered and further investigated

this is a great idea. I'm interested!

Currently I'reading Achtung Panzer! by Heinz Guderian. Achtung Panzer was the book used by the panzercommanders in WWII.

Soviets used their Deep Battle doctrine. Maybe something interesting to look at, they used it in WWII.

The US forces had a special armor doctrine. roughly: tanks support infantry (m3/m4), tank destroyer kill tanks(m10/m18/m36). might take a look at this too.

Yes, good idea, though there might be a lot of tactics difficult to apply in WoT. Focusing on those of use in the game might be a good idea. One suggestion for tanks like the ELC and auto loaders is Hit and Run.

That would be the Hammer and Anvil one, the hopping hammer variant.
