Why are you applying to SGTA: My current clan is just a bunch of people that know each other IRL and most of them are very casual gamers, with no real ambition to improve. I don't blame them for it or anything. Anyone can play the game as they see fit, but I want something more out of it.
I am still improving and learning on my own, but I think I would benefit greatly from being around other people that are motivated to improve. In addition, a larger, more motivated clan, would make it a lot easier to find equally motivated platoons. I am a team player. I play all tiers. I play all classes a lot, except SPG's (I don't hate them, you won't find me raging about arty a lot, I just don't enjoy playing them much).

I thought I would add a little bit about my playstyle. I seem to be most comfortable with sniping and flanking tanks in a support role.

I am least comfortable leading the charge and brawling, so that is an area I certainly seek to improve in to become a more versatile player.

Lastly, my nick is abbreviated to "nilz", which is also my first name

Having had a look at you in-game today, what you describe certainly looks like it to me.

I think some classes starting from the basics may help you. Particularly classes in brawling and sidescraping. I believe if you know more about how to fend for yourself in close combat, you will be more comfortable holding that role when needed.

Additionally, sniping and support are usually hallmarks of players who dislikes getting hit. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I couldn't help but notice it did prevent you from getting a few necessary shots in the game today.

Anyways, all these things will come eventually as you participate in the lessons in SGTA. So please don't take my critique too personally I said I would give you some pointers on this area, and here it is!

This may partially stem from me having played German tanks predominantly. In the lower tier German tanks, you are up against the likes of KV-1's and KV-1S', which will soon leave you a smoking wreck if you expose yourself too much. Even the first German heavy, the Tiger, will easily get you killed if you are careless. This, combined with my already careful nature, has probably led to me becoming a too careful player.

Another aspect may be lack of understanding when to expose yourself to enemy fire and when not. I do notice I am more aggressive in my KV-1 generally, because I have a better understanding of the punishment it can take in relation to the tanks it is up against.

Sidescraping is something I have only discovered recently and could definitely stand to practice more.
