Theory on EU-servers Empty Theory on EU-servers

Theory:
Since EU1 has been announced as main (only?) CW-server the majority of CW-players have put their logon to go for EU1.
Therefore, the majority of non-CW players, including newbies, roam on EU2. So larger swings are found on EU2 - which both means larger wins, but also absurd lemming-rushes and hardly noone with situational awareness.

As a consequence, the "low-tier" matches may be more random but you can rule them harder on EU2.

Anyone?

Yes now - but in the beginning it was only on one server, so therefore...? Or did it just entirely blow up my theory?

EU2 has better low tier players and worse high tier players.

This!

Been hammering the tier 10's again recently and on EU1 you can be reasonably confident that the majority of your team will deploy with some common sense, EU2 it's just a stunning place to realise that lab rats learn quicker than most of your teams.

Best comment on EU2 today - "why do I always get the crap noob teams?" from an 10k + IS7 driver with an overall W/R of 43% and just 32% on the IS7 as was pointed out by another team member. He went very very quiet once we had all stopped laughing Smile

Oh and I behaved myself and just smiled instead of asking him how he achieved such stunningly awful stats on a bloody IS7!

EU2 has better quality on tier 5. EU1 has better quality on 6 and 7.

Im not sure now - do we seek better quality players to perform better overall on our teams, or do we seek worse players to have easier opponents?

I'M GOING TO FUCKING LIVE IN EU2 FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER

How will we learn if we're dead from the suicide/drug overdose from despair of constantly losing because of shitty teams? I lost 10 games in a row today, I shit thee not. In at least 7 of them, I was top damage and top XP. Hell, on one of them, I even had more XP than the top player of the winning team. It's infuriating!

Actually I feel like I get a mix.
Terrible players on my team and unique players who has made an agreement to target me out immediately.

And this is - be aware - no matter what server i play on.

So... anybody want to platoon? Wink

Nice theory. One thing to remember: MM is still random and will place you with (other) good players or (other) bad players. This is the same on EU1 and EU2. So in the end you can hardly make a difference unless you can carry a game. But then again: then it does not matter on which server you can carry.

i still use the auto logon button, and i am being placed on both servers depending on the time i connect i gues. also if i platoon with a friend of mine (who just lives 20km away from me) he always seems to land up on the other server. so i change a lot at those moments and i realy cant tell the diffrence between servers. I have seen theories about this emerging on forums as well but honestly,.. the number of people folowing the forums or playing cw are realy only a minority, thus eaven if we asume all of those are elite players, their impact on the whole server population is very very small. (the devs admitted only a few weeks ago for example that only 1% off all active players visit the main page on the RU server IIRC).
If you are realy looking for finding a way to have better teammates/better oponents in random battles, i think it makes way more sense to play only at specific houres of the day.

I too use the auto login but most of the time I end up on EU2. I also sometimes change the server if I feel that I need to get away from a loosing streak or bad mm. But it's a head thing mostly I guess. And I agree with crazytony0 on the hour of day part. I stopped playing early afternoon on weekdays due to imo bad matches. And also I'm at work at this time. Wink
I'm not an experienced player and I've never paid attention to the quality of players on either server.

hiya,

I have never really noticed any difference between the 2 servers. I agree what has been mentioned earlier, that MM stays random. So what team you get will be pot luck on any server.

The only reason why I sometimes switch server is when I have a lagging connection. Switching sometimes improves the connection.

The only difference I have noticed is when playing TC's. You seem to run a larger risk of running into a seasoned clan on EU1, especially at Champion level.
