Question about Obj.268

Check this picture and tell me why the Obj.268 got so low exp. in a decent battle for him.  


I 'm really interested since i 'm grinding towards that TD.

The only thing I could come up with is sniping form the other end of the map, hitting low tier tanks(would be tier .

Reward system is strange. I hope they change it.

5 direct hits, 4 pens, took 4240 potential damage and traveled 2.14km (!). That's some distance, so I don't think he was camping. I have no idea, maybe he just did too much of something and broke the XP calculation.

Fun fact: In the first Pokemon generation of games, there are no level 1 pokemon in the wild as killing them can yield many millions of XP points due to a flaw in the xp calculation formula. This was improved in later games.

I've heard the theory that if someone else spots the tank you lose 50% of the XP, so far nothing new. However if somebody else tracks the guy at the same time you lose the other 50% netting you nothing except a small bonus for killing him if applicable, I wonder if that's what's actually happening.

I did 6k dmg in Object 261 yesterday in a pure Tier 10 batle.

Got 1,012 exp.

Working as intended.

I think he might've left the battle early (while he was still alive) and then you don't get much XP (if any).

The way I have understood it (might not be correct) is if someone tracks an enemy that someone else damages, the one tracking gets 50% of the exp the damager gets. Not taking away exp from the damager, but just getting 50% of the amount of exp he gets. Of course in these cases the damager is far away and doesn't get close combat bonus and sometimes he is not spotting the target himself so getting only 50% the exp. Not sure if that how it works, but that's what I have understood from dev comments.

As for the Object 268's low exp. Can't really think of a reason for that low exp. Sniping (unlikely) + low tiers + exiting the battle maybe. But even then it would be weird. Is this 8.6 or before? pre-8.6 TD's got less exp for damage.

Yes, it is 8.6.

Only takes a couple of accidental team damage hits to lose all the xp!

Checked picture: no damage to allies caused.
