SGTA is moving!

I'm proud to announce that SGTA will be moving to a new website and forum.

This process started when we decided that we needed a better calendar than we had. Ironclaw was kind enough to offer to make one, after a while he could make a new website together with the calendar. Things started to move quickly and before we knew it we had a calendar and a website AND a forum in the works.

So what is so much better about the new website that we decided to move everything? Well first and foremost we will have everything in the same place and everything will require only one account. Yes, website, forum, calendar and shoutbox all with one account. The homepage will feature our YouTube channel with newest videos easily available and you can expect more content in it soon. Calendar is integrated to the website as well, more information about it here. About SGTA section has general information about SGTA and it's Staff. There's of course links to the forum and a 'Apply to SGTA!' button for new members. Lastly on the left side there is current UTC and CET time. List of any events for today and any upcoming events as well. A shoutbox, which you don't need to register separately! There's also a list of different WoT streams, those online at the top and those offline at the bottom.

Please register to the new website as soon as possible so we can assign everyone to the right group. As to what is going to happen with the this forum. We've already moved the most important topics to the new forum, but we will not shut down this forum. We are going to keep it as an archive so everyone can keep browsing it as needed. Registration will be closed and posting will be disabled. All of this will happen on 26th of November 2013.

We would like everyone to start using the new forum already. Whenever there's a new topic you want to post, post it in the new forum!

The upcoming days I will keep an eye on the registrations and give everyone the proper rights on website/calendar/forum. (You only need to register ONCE, everything is intergrated under one account)

Once the large mass of moving has been done, this can be taken over by Sapaki for new registrants I think.

Bugs I found so far:

For page:
There is no Poland in time zones.
There are some font problems – color of font and background of it: like after regsitration you have dark blue on gray bg,  or on mainpage under chatbox there is black font on gray bg "200 characters remaining".
When I'm logged in the pages still says "log in" on menu bar and when mouse over it says logout.

For forum:
Also: links in signatures should be opened in new tab instead of this tab.

Another also:

It would be nice if you would have "technical issues" or suggestions topic in forum.

Now I see that they are capital cites of countries, I've just typed "p" and searched for poland.

Hey Vallu,

Am a bit confused. I tried to log on with my existing SGTA user name and password but it said no user existed, and they only other thing I could see was to re-apply to SGTA, surely this is not what you meant by registering? Can you help and point me in the right direction?

No you just need to make a new account on the new forum. Move you mouse over Login then there comes a popup where you can create a new account

How about announcing a data for the move and maybe use the TS and in game channels to get people to move over.

It would be nice to know when we van stop using the old site and focus on the new.

Not sure if trolling or not, but Vallu did put a date this time and even underlined it.

Or scroll down, in the left collumn is also an account-box with a registration link
