113 Guide 113art

Hello and welcome to the Tier 10 Chinese heavy, the 113!

Tank specs:
113 Guide 113stats

Upgrade tree:
None as it is tier 10.

Overview:
The 113 is one of the Tier 10 vehicles that come fully elite and does not have upgrades. This means that the only way to push the vehicle past its stated stats will be the usage of crew skills, consumables and equipment.
It is somewhat different when compared to its predecessor, the WZ-111 4/5. It is still a small, low to the ground and a relatively lightweight heavy tank but it does differ in a few ways. First of, its gun depression is even worse than the less than stellar WZ-111. Also, it's armour is not pike-nose shaped like the 110 and WZ-111 4/5. Despite the low thickness, the effective frontal plate is about 270mm thick due to its great slope, but there are quite a few catches. Due to the size of the Chinese, the highly sloped but thin armour of the vehicle loses effectiveness the closer the enemy is. Most enemies are taller than the 113 (and with better gun depression too) and this means they aim down at its thin plate and it loses effectiveness. Add to the fact that guns with over 240mm of penetration also get a slight bonus against 120mm plates, the vulnerability to artillery and the extremely weak lower plate, and the Chinese really does not stand out with good armour. Still, this simple build helps the tank in corner fights as it can actually slope itself well and get into the auto-bounce angles easier. It is also still quite formidable at a distance and the turret is relatively tough, provided the 113 is not too close to its target as its roof is relatively weak to bigger tanks.
It comes with a 122mm gun similar to the one on the IS-4, one of the Tier 10 Soviet heavy tanks. Compared to the IS-4's gun, it has better DPM and slightly better accuracy, but it does have less penetration. Unfortunately it also has bad gun depression and elevation. Tanks larger than the 121 with vulnerable top parts like periscopes or cupolas can feel relatively safe because the Chinese just can’t reach them. Most bumps on the road have the potential to make the gun unusable due to its crappy gun depression and reset its aim time, which although not bad is also not good.
Mobility of the 113 is quite good for a tier 10 heavy tank. The top speed is very good and the engine is powerful enough to help the 113 keep a steady 40-42 km/h speed on most terrains.
All in all the 113 is a hard vehicle to play. It's armour can be formidable, but only at a distance and with some artificial sloping. It's gun is good, but not great. The bad gun depression and elevation are very serious drawbacks and do not allow the 113 to use its good turret in a way it might have wanted to. The turret is also relatively easy to damage if the Chinese is fighting taller tanks, so it too works best at a distance. Thankfully, the mobility is quite good.
Price: 6 100 000
Camouflage: Good
Gun Elevation: -4°/+15°

Pros:
- Good damage per shot and DPM.
- Good agility and speed.
- Good turret and well sloped hull armour.
- Relatively small and with decent camo.

Cons:
- Thin frontal armour plate and weak sides and rear.
- Gun depression and elevation is awful.
- Relatively frequent module damage.

Designation:
1.Warrior 2. Heavy Support Tank 4. Medium Tank Hunter 4.Brawler 5. Sniper
The 113 can be an excellent wolf pack tank and is a great brawler and reinforcer.
Direct Engagement 113: Ramer; Vertical Stabilizer; Ventilation
Scouting Medium 113: Coated Optics; Ramer; Ventilation/ Camouflage Net

Crew:
1. Commander
2. Gunner
3. Driver
4. Loader (also a radioman)

Crew skills (only an example, up to 4th skill):

Hull:
Armor scheme currently in use:
Spoiler:
120/80/60
Upper hull may look like its easy to penetrate due to being relatively thin for a heavy tank but it incredibly well sloped. Effective armour is around 270mm of armour protection and at this angle, it does not take much to get into auto-bounce territory. Even so, it has a couple of serious flaws. Since it is so thin and the machine so small and low to the ground, at close range most tanks (especially those with good gun depression) will usually go right through the armour. Also, the lower plate is ridiculously easy to penetrate and should be protected at all costs, which is not that easy thanks to the lack of gun depression. Side and rear are paper and provide almost no protection.

Suspension:
113 / Max.capacity 48.00 / Turn speed 36 deg per sec.
Turning speed is good.  Has decent ground passability values, though nothing special.

Engine:
V-2-54SC / 750 horse power / 12% chance of fire
Engine is good for a T10 heavy tank of this weight. The horse power per ton ratio is satisfying. It can also survive at least 10 minutes on removed speed governor.

Radio:
A-220B- 750meters
Good radio.

Turrets:
113
Armor: 240/160/80
Rotation: 26 degrees/second
View range: 400m

Turret is actually quite tough. The most powerful cannons in the game with 246+ penetration can penetrate it frontally, but only if the 113 is standing still and at close range. Its top is a tougher than the T-54 turret but is stilla target for taller tanks. Its side is sloped too, which can help it bounce if shot at from a large distance but it is not all that great up close. Rear is obviously paper, though vehicles with less than 200 penetration should do their best to hit it where it is not too sloped.

Guns:
122 mm 60-122T
RoF: 5,5
Penetration: 257/400/68
Average damage: 440/440/530
Accuracy (100m): 0,36
Aim time: 2,7 sec

This gun is impressive. Its damage per shot is good, and it comes with good accuracy and decent aiming time. The DPM this heavy tank can unleash is quite good, hell even better than the IS-4’s DPM. Penetration is good enough, though less than that of the IS-4 and T110.
Premium ammo is HEAT which does not get the normalization bonus that APCR gets, but does not lose penetration with distance. With 400 penetration, it can shoot most vehicles and be quite certain of penetration, but there are still some things that should be avoided, like the E-100's upper plate and the IS-4's  turret.

Comparison with its peers:
113 vs AMX 50B
The French tank has inferior armour all around when compared to the 113. Both are mostly comparable speed-wise, but whilst the Chinese deals more damager per shot, he lacks the autoloader of the Frenchy and has lesser gun depression.

113 vs E-100
E-100 has superior armour all around (only turret is a contested area) and more damage per shot. It is also tougher and has better gun depression. The 113 is faster, more mobile with higher penetration and more penetration.

113 vs Maus
The Maus has better armour all around and more health points. The German also deals more damage per shot, but is also much larger and slower and comes with less penetration and DPM. The Maus has better gun depression though and can better act as a shield than the Chinese.

113 vs T110E5
The T110E5 has more armour than the 113.

113 vs T57
The Chinese is tougher and with better armour than the T57.

113 vs IS-4
IS-4 has better armour than the 113. Both are tied for damage per shot, though the IS-4 has a little more penetratio but the 113 is more accurate and has more DPM. IS-4 also has more hit points and has better gun depression but loses out in speed and maneuverability.

113 vs IS-7
113 is superior to the IS-7 mobility wise. It also has better DPM and accuracy, but does lose out in armour, gun depression and damage per shot. The Chinese can better slope itself around corners than the Soviet, but the IS-7 is still better when directly facing its enemy.

Historical 113
Development on model 113 was started in 1963. The vehicle was conceived as an alternative to WZ-111 and used parts and components of medium tanks. However, the project was canceled due to the development of main battle tanks.
