Application as a Teir6,7 medium Instructor

I joined this site primarily for 2 reasons.

1: I saw the forum post asking for instructors.
2: i get players PM ing me after battle asking me to teach them how to be better.


So as i have a lot of free time currently, play wot a lot 33+K battles specialise in medium tanks especially teir 6,7.

My favourite tank is my Comet where i often end up truning the battle around. I often get raged at by higher teirs i kill meaning they think i in a Comet shouldnt be able to kill them.

I know every map inside out. Know that depenant up on the Map, the teirs and what tanks are in battle determines the most suitable tactic to be used.

Basically i have a lot of experience to offer those willing to learn from a good player.

I am not perfect but enjoy teaching.

I have to be honest, your amount of games played might be high, but your performance (dmg dealt, enemies spotted, kills etc) are only slightly above average.
It might sound harsh, but perhaps you should reconsider.

While some of your stats are bit lowish to be instructor, these can be ignored somewhat due to you wanting to instruct on very specific area.

I would like to platoon with you to see how you play. Could you PM me ingame when you have time? I'm mostly online on evenings.

And 13,5k battles on a VK3601H?!?

well
when it comes to my VK,cromwell and comet. my stats are actually within range. one reason they are lower than should be was for half the time i have been playing game used to crash and pc would die and i couldnt log back in. These issues have now been resolved. New PSU and different ISP solved that problem .
I rarely use my panther2 because MM places me as only teir8 agaisnt teir 9 and 10 i get maybe 1 game in 10 agaisnt teir8's and a few teir 9's.

Happy to demonstrate what i can do in game in a platoon for instance.

While you have definitely improved from your average, it is still not that impressive I'm afraid my dear.
But then again, it's finally up to the other people around here, not me, I have obscurely high expectations.

I know what i can do, usually turn many battles around when i can be bothered. I challange YOU to match my medals, xp earned etc in a Comet................then if you are better than me, I will happily reconsider the offer..............

i Would be careful what you wish for Attila. Kawa is something else. Awesome instructor. Knows so much that i am guessing you would learn a thing or 2 from her whilst she pounds your tank to dust. Just saying

Ah let's not be so fast to judge. We won't know anything until it's proven. Besides, my stats ain't great yet I can take a 60% 'pro' anyday lol!!!

i swear Hubris will get you killed one day your stats are only half decent because of your seal clubbing days with your tier 2. I know you Ding remember i have been listening to you and playing with you since day one practically . I tell you what you have tremendous luck ! hehe

P.S i am sick of picking up your slack during platoons =)

Lies But oh well...seal clubbing days are over...and I'm maintaining a steady flow of efficiency...not getting better and not getting worse generally lol.

P.S: You don't pick up my slack you are usually the springboard to a higher score haha XD

Careful about that statement... you have 20 000 (more than double) more games than me, but I've dealt more dmg than you in total.

In terms of medals, I have 141 more top guns than you and 62 more boelters.

If you wish to challenge me for a 1 vs 1, I'd accept, but would that prove anything? The game is a team based game, individual turns the tide at certain points of the map, meaning one has to meet certain conditions on the battlefield. A hull down monster turns the battle around by defending flanks alone or leading a push up a hill, but if there's no enemy there, then what? Much of the game is based on knowledge of the maps and the tanks we're driving, + add a bit of luck to it due to +-25% pen/dmg on shells. If we go 1 vs 1, it's alot about who ambushes the other first in terms of spotting from proper camo etc, it doesn't really simulate real battles.
One exception is dogfighting and impact combat, and if you want to challenge me at that, feel free to do so.

Now I do not say this because I don't want you around, I'm simply telling you to uh... think the term is "Don't get too cocky"? If you want to be arrogant or confident, then feel free to do so, but back it up by demonstrating knowledge. Do you think people took me seriously in any of the clans I've been in? Being a mute and a female in a game mainly populated by males makes you fairly ridiculed, I've had episodes where (not in this academy) clan members drew penises on top of my tactical maps while I explained them for clan wars, I've had numerous remarks from people with the classical "tits or gtfo", so what can I do to counter that? Simply be better in the game, and people with a reasonable mind dismiss them as full of BS. I admit that when I first started this game, I was too confident in myself, that's why the scores on my first soviet heavy line and arty line are abysmal compared to the rest of my tanks, but ever since I joined clans, I've been collecting blueprints, reading documents and memorizing angles, numbers, weakspots, crew member and testing out game mechanics. Even in this academy I had to prove myself, being dismissed by a previous artillery instructor for being an immature idiot.

Point is, you're completely welcome to stay as an instructor, but be careful about your tone regarding the extent of your experience and knowledge, because even I don't brag about certain tanks of mine.

Alright aslright...this is hardly necessary. A duel won't prove much anyways as I get times when I lose to a 38% WR dude in my Pz35t.

I think we'll let Vallu decide and leave off any judgment until well after seeing what Sarah can teach.

If you want to go against Kawa 1 on 1 ...good luck, I wouldn't. 1 on 1 is fun to do and good training, but for judging someones performance it's not the best. You can't judge others tactical knowledge and map knowledge is also of limited importance.

I don't care about your stats, because of how many games you've played. Hard to judge your current performance on tier 6/7 meds based on those. And since you want to instruct on just those I just want to see if you can handle them. If you do that well then everything is ok, anything else is a plus.

In my opinion the only stats worth caring is your win rate, the rest is only worth caring if you plan to get into a serious CW clan.

This might be off topic, but I just read the whole topic and it transformed from an "application" to a 1v1 topic.WTF now ?! You shouldn't treat players that want to join, just do a couple of matches and if its good you "hire" him.BTW, looking forward to platoon with you someday.

My only stat that I care in the tiniest bit about is "Targets Destroyed", I like killing shit!

Win rate is highly farmable you know... tank companies with only decent players or tooning only with good players highly increases the chance of winning. I care way more about damage dealt.

Believe me when I say I understand what you mean Kawa...but a win is a win... I know getting a good win rate does not effectively prove ytou are a better player. But if your win rate is up then you do win more in comparison to other players, and taking into account I personally put victory above all else, then that is the stat personally i believe is the one thats most important for me ^^

But I agree with gottenss, this is getting a bit off-topic, so let's leave this thread until whatever Vallu decides shall we?

It has drifted a tad of topic......................i was just ( Ithought having some humurous banter).

Fact is i learned how to play after a say 6 months. But iam no stat whore. I couldnt be less interestedin being top of this or that league. Some days whilst playing ill give myself a goal like get a scout patrol,or steel wall etc just for the challange. Another day i may just decide to see what can or cant be done in battle such as how far can i get at fulkl speed from start and still live in my crommy. FUN FUN FUN its best one can do when after 1 min you see team has no idea does not communicate and i see team collapse absolutly imminant. So rather than get frustrated ,wound up rage ful etc. I give myself challange for that battle. Most of the time i end up either being first dead because i get into position only to find team has lemminged or camping in base, Or last alive as i fight tooth and nail to take down as much of the enemy as possible.



To me this is a game. ment to be a laugh a way to forget your every day woes. Sure try to do well be good at it.

But take it all so serious ? . For me no rather try to have fun if team is half decent ill try my best to help team win. If as is currently the trouble with Randoms right now full of clueless non communicating players, then ill set myself a mini challenge in battle.


Now whether i get invited, asked to help instruct i know not, I know what i know and have always been happy to pass on to those wishing to improve.

Hoho, if you read the post about my mindset we're polar opposites I suppose. I play to improve my abilities while relax at the same time, not to have fun.

Fact is we need instructors badly since there are only a few left.
If we scare everybody off even before they had a go it will not get better.

Lets give Sarah a try and we will see whether she is able to pull this off.
