TC Training 1 | Completed
Hey guys,
This will be a training series about team based gameplay.
The stuff we will talk about can be used in TCs, Cws and sometimes even in randoms.
The first part will be about moving in cities and on open terrain and also about forming a proper fireline.
If you want to read up a bit beforehand feel free to click here.
There might be a short TC afterwards to practise

Re: TC Training 1 | Completed
I shall be there as im now enjoying TCs far more than randoms, in fact its my favourite WoT experience these days. HellKitty at the ready.
OOI, we had a firing line trainig session some time ago which included 2 KV-1S lines advancing where the first line would shoot, then the seconf line would go in front and take shots again. This was for CW's and ive never since seen it used in TC's. Tecuani, Paulofiko2k13 and myself went out in KV-1's after that training session into the random world in order to practice. We cared less about winning or losing, we just wanted to practice. What a difference it made, we even had people comment in chat about the SGTA platton roflstomping the enemy it was that effective.

The last few days I have been at a winrate of about 25% which takes the fun totally out of the game

Off topic i know but. I used to shoot air rifles competitivly and whilst at my local gun club, a new guy joined and I was asked to buddy up and look after him. This guy was 6 foot 5 inches tall and built like a brick shit house, he had just been thrown out of the army (bomb disposal) due to massive anger problems and continually fighting with the military police. Picture the scene, im standing next to a huge man, who we actually nicknames 'Vlad the impaler', both holding rifles and he's telling me how even the army couldnt control him....hmmm
Everybody would back off from this guy when he 'lost it', I didnt, I just faced him off and I gained his respect for that. I finally convinced him to seek help through anger management, which he did... hes a much happier man now, and also a very good freind. He now lives and works in the middle east but we meet up to hunt when hes back in the UK and we are also Padi diver buddies, i trust him with my life.

Would really like to attend this lesson. So far I haven't been in a platoon or TC as I'm unsure how to work as part of a team.

Just get stuck in. Noone will expect anyone to perform at any level at all. Just anounce you have no prior experience and everyone will understand.glooscap wrote:Would really like to attend this lesson. So far I haven't been in a platoon or TC as I'm unsure how to work as part of a team.
If a TC seems a bit daunting (really, they are not. As long as you listen to the FC and follow his instructions, you are doing your job), just start by platooning. Again, just tell your platoonmates you are new to platooning and they will be glad to help you on your way. Feel free to ask me to platoon when you see me online.

Re: TC Training 1 | Completed
@Andy:
It will be basically the same as we did for the cw training.
I thought it would be a good idea to do those lesons from time to time.
Old students can come to have a recap and new students have the opportunity to hear about sth new.
@Danny:
The lesson will take 1 1/2h maximum. The "short" TC is not mandatory and might happen to be quiet long in the end (as always)
@glooscap:
Like the others said: No pressure, mate.
It all might sound a bit harsh at the beginning but especially platoons have a very relaxed atmosphere
