Additional Courses - Russian & Chinese mediums 27.9.2013 18.00 UTC [Complete]

Continuing the medium class series we will have a class about Russian and Chinese mediums on 27th of September at 18.00 UTC (forum clock).
TS needed
EU1

We will focus on the tanks mobility, flanking and close combat. You can expect both theory and practice.

Medium tanks of tier 5 and above will benefit the most from these classes. Please not that A-43, A-44 and Object 416 won't be discussed as they are new and their characteristics differ from the rest. Object 140 however will be as it's very similar to T-62A.

Is it ok to attend even if I don't have any Russian or Chinese meds? I don't mind being cannon fodder or suiciding once in-game so that I observe.

Applies to me too. I will get myself a T-34-85 eventually, and maybe some more USSR meds, I just dont own one atm :/

Any long-residence SGTA student can apply for temporary access onto my account for testing and experiencing the regular Chinese mediums line (Type T-34, Type 58, T-34-1 and T-34-2) and also all the premium Chinese tanks (Type 59, Type 62, T-34-3, 112).

Id like to come along in my T44 please.  I like mediums but I think i suck in them, although every medium i get i seem to be lucky with teams....or maybe i am doing things right.

Brainfarter, you have done well getting to wz-120, i gave up on wz-132 as the grind is too hard for the fun returned

I think it isn't too bad, to be honest. Nearly all the lower tier tanks leading up to it at least have a potent gun, allowing you to rack up some damage. Not being able to carry over modules to the next tier is a bit of a nuisance. The 59-16 was really the most painful one, imo, because of the poor gun selection. I am currently on the WZ-131 and it is a fantastic light tank, easily able to pull top xp scores with a combination of passive spotting, cheeky tracking shots and late game hit & run. It can even snipe from flanks quite effectively if you are willing to spam HEAT.

I will be there in a T-34-85.

Will be there with KV-13 but without top gun as it seems at the moment (no time the freeXP it today)

I think most of us would have been horrified if your kids were crying in the middle of the stairway while you attended the lesson
