The story of self confirmed biased paranoid
ends with sweet dulcet tones of vindication and confirmation, straight from a wot developer: http://ftr.wot-news.com/2013/09/28/winrate-affects-your-team-position/
so if you do well before, the game takes it into account and places you lower.

hiya,
It will pair your tank up with higher tiers but you still will have the same chance of getting a "good" team or "bad".
I don't think this will have a big impact or your score/rating.

yes but it shows validity to the belief of wg actively meddling with things like this. One only sees the tip of the iceberg. ;-)

The are also claims of strange goings on in WoWP at the moment.
Ironically, Sharpneli, the poster of the claim, is a big WoT fanboy and previously has made great efforts to shoot down claims of "rigged" matchmaking in Wot. In WoWP the claim concerns an "auto-aim" feature to make life easier for less experienced players.

Others are also claiming that the latest patch 5.3 has modified the MM making it more difficult to win.
Who knows what is inside WG MM algorithms

By placing your more often in the lower tiers it effectively dilutes (nerfs) your skill/ability to influence the game. It's only a subtle effect but a nerf all the same.flash64 wrote:hiya,

This was an interesting article I thought, explains the constant win streaks and losing streaks with just few enough of the latter to stop you quitting!
I'm more into WoWp atm but the last patch on there is definitely geared to letting the fuckwits feel better about themselves, hasn't made any difference to my w/r stats but they were average to start with. The guys up at 70% to 90% w/r are seeing a drastic fall down to WoT unicum levels and vice versa for the monkeys that find the up/down dimension confusing!
Another thing that occurred during my latest losing streak on WoT (e.g 93% win chance, Hami platoon and Exnom platoon on my team and 5 of the 6 in those platoons got ammo racked by lower tiers within 3 minutes, we lost!) was that since the server numbers have remained stable for a good 6 months now the retention rate must be dropping like a brick which would lead me to suspect that very generally speaking there is a bias in favour of newer players. Not a huge bias but it wouldn't need to be much to make a big difference over a few thousand games. Even tweaking the RNG for one side by a few % would work.
