E100 masterclass
Any chance of some 1:1 help with my E100?
There's stuff I have read about but don't fully understand like flicking off shots with the turret and eating shells with the tracks. My biggest difficulty is getting it in to good heavy positions before it gets shot by a Foch. Considering changing my username to KilledByFoch.

While I'm not sure if a non-instructor is allowed to help you with the 1 on 1, I might be able to help you with some of your questions.
flicking off shots with the turret
Between shots you need to angle your turret slightly because the E-100 (same for the Maus) has bad turret cheeks. So basically when you are doing a 1vs1 don't keep your gun pointed at your target because you will make it easy for him to pen your cheeks. Just point your gun to a point just beside the tank.
eating shells with the tracks
Basically it refers to angling, side scraping and avoiding to move towards one or more targets in a straight line (avoid showing your front plate without an angle).
Big tracks absorb more damage especially since I think it was in 8.6 where they technically behave the same way as spaced armor against HE and HEAT (never shoot at tracks with HEAT especially those of high tier heavy tanks like E-100, E-75, KV-4, ST-I, IS-4, ...).
As for the killed by Foch part I really wonder what exactly you consider to be a good heavy position if heavies can not get there in time.

Re: E100 masterclass
I can do some next week. E-100 was my first tier 10 and is still my favourite. Just pm me a more specific time or just ask when you see me online.

Re: E100 masterclass
To be honest, I haven't seen Vallu in game when I have been on. My E100 is gathering cobwebs while it's crew pray for the release of a Pz.Kpfw. B2 740 (f) in the gift shop. That big gun delivers a lovely present for onrushing Fochs...
Re: E100 masterclass
If I'm online it's usually after 19.00 UTC, lately I haven't bee that much online. I have seen you online couple of times, but I didn't remember your request at all. That's why I usually ask students to contact me, because I forgot myself. You can find me on TS even when I'm not ingame sometimes.
If all else fails, just send me a with date and time and I'll try my best to be there.

I shall endeavour to be less "British" and ask you directly next time I see you online.
Thanks

If I can leech along it would be great. I would also like to hear setup with skills / equipment / ammo - I am quite mixed with how to loadout.
