123_havoc_321 - wallet warrior and killstealer
Hi everyone,
I'm a Brit, in my forties and I live and work in Scotland and spend far too much time in front of a computer though some of that is time spent in WoT .
As far as interests and hobbies go, I used to be an active scuba diver, I was big into motorbikes and I am an amateur photographer and of course I spend a lot of time in WoT.
I've been reading forums and watching youtube vids and going over my own replays to see how I can do better and maybe I've just hit my level but I read some of the recent posts on the EU WoT forums and if I dont need to leave my current clan I'd like to take part in some of the training to see if I can improve my performance and pull my weight.
I have a range of tanks spread across the tiers including some premiums and as long as I get a pm first I'd be happy to platoon up.

Heya! Nice to see you around.
Concerning the participation in our training session, there is just one note I think I need to point out and that is SGTA members will ALWAYS get priority over places over non-SGTA members.
Otherwise, it's up to the individual instructor to see if they want to teach external parties in the training session.

Killstealer eh? We'll see, we'll see...
I think every instructor accepts non-SGTA members on their classes. Only thing I require for my classes is sign up on the forums and being on time and you'll get an invite. Check the Lessons section daily for any classes. We try to give fair warning of any upcoming classes, but sometimes it's not possible.

That's fair and if my current clan hadn't just announced that they were going to get into tank company games I'd consider moving on. As things stand I'd be happy just to fill in for last minute cancellations if I'm online.
I still do noob things from time to time like sit in the open waiting to aim or pop out in the same place to take a shot when they are pre-aimed, that last mistake cost me a top gun and maybe even a radley walters in my T29. My main failing i think is failing to read the bigger picture; I didn't realise how important my role was in one game until I died and watched the red team collapse the left flank followed quickly by the right.

I was accused of killstealing by a wolverine driver on one of those special weekends a few weeks ago when I was derping everything in sight with the pz4 though since i started to focus on dealing damage I dont score as many kills but i do tend to make up for that with spotting damage or just dealing out the damage.

It's a common mistake made by many, and still made by those who are good from time to time. The skill is to remember to frequently look at the mini-map and assess the situation. Even when an enemy is in your sights. There's no point wasting reload time if you don't plan to relocate, hence you might as well look at the mini-map in that time.
