Re: Impact combat lesson replay
Nicely done! I looked through the entire thing and while obviously having text chat is better, I guessed/understood the concepts that was taught.
Good to know the methods I use are quite similar to that being taught! Good one!

well
all the stuff was explained over TS, but basically you want to achieve these:
- protect your weakest armour parts like hull by exploiting your low profile (in case of type or kv-1s/IS/IS-3)
- show only your strongest armour to the enemy, where enemy is highly likely to not be able to penetrate it like turret front/gun mantlet
if enemy is trying to aim for your weak spots like turret cupola you have these options:
- move forward/backwards to make his aiming hard as possible
- try to predict when he will be shooting to dodge shell or to bring your turret front under his gun as he is likely to shot
- barrel block (gun absorbing damage) by pointing your gun into the sky into the aim of the enemy, easy way to do this is to aim at his higher part of the gun in sniper mode pointing it slightly in the sky. This way your gun barrel is between your cupola and his gun, so he can't shot your weak spot without changing position.
