KV-1 out of the way

KV-1S is boring as hell, and i need 23k exp till it'll be fun, :/ How does one pass the time?

patience my young padawan! patience! I an grinding the DB to get to Indien atm, which is crap even with all modules and I need to get 80k exp with that. (I have standard account). 60k more to go!

An alternative is to play as much battles in it as you feel like. Then take the KV-1S out for a spin with my experimental TCs (Vallu's TCs are strictly victory centered, hence your less-than-ideal setup for the KV-1S might hinder their progress. My TCs are not victory centered and center around experimenting with tactics, etc. so no pressure here). You gain x1.5 times your normal credits and exp if it's victory in TCs.

That's why you save free XP before you buy a tank that you know is going to be hell to play stock (and for pretty much everything above tier V I suppose).

I bought an ARL 44 last week when it was knocked down in price, but I'm not playing it until I get enough free XP to get rid of that ridiculous stock turret.

122mm derp is the only way to grind this tank . Consider using 3-4 gold derp rounds . If fired accurately and at "hard" targets , you can do some pretty good damage

Here's how I grind with my boring tanks : do only the x2 for a while and then go for the last 10 or 15k xp (possibly with gold ammo) in a burst.

hi Paul and welcome to the Acadamy. Derp, god i hate them unless of course when im cruising in my KV-2 in which case its all A-ok. If you must use derp, stick in a 3 man platoon and offer 2nd line support to your platooning KV-1S's in higher teir battles, in lower tier battles, keep doing as you are but dont expect the true KV-1S experience.

As you are now part of the acadamy, I no longer need to shamefully ignore most platoon requests in the clan chat window and we can now be more active within the acadamy, this is a good thing!
