To mod or not to mod: that is the question
Title says it all really. With the release of 8.6 i'm starting anew, so what mods (if any) should I install.
Cheers.
Cheers.

I started with nothing, then realised how much I missed my damage tracking and minimap zoom, so I installed XVM. Aside from that, I'm not using any... everything else is purely cosmetic, unless you're an arty player and find the DAR helpful.

Re: To mod or not to mod: that is the question
I use to have XVM installed but found that I spent far too much time obsessing over other player stats and the % chance that my team had of winning. I have to say that since getting rid of XVM I enjoy playing much more. Is there a way to use the other features of XVM and stop user stats from being displayed?
Cheers.

Xvm, Jimbo's and Aslain is what I use, works fine for me. Couple more mods in and out for cosmetic silly things if I feel like it.
Edit: I have team winning chance disabled since ages ago, nothing good ever came of that.

I hate this aswell. Nothing worse than going into a game knowing you're 95% going to lose. Instead, I just run WoT from the WorldofTanks.exe in the game's directory, rather than using the XVM loader shortcut. You don't get the stats showing up in game, and still get the benefits of more accurate numbers in your service record, as well as damage tracking during the game.

Actually the XVM-winchance is something of the most motivational for me:
If less than 40% winchance I really up myself and solo-highfive after a victory - so I try much harder when underdog.
The 68%+ winchance-games are pure exp-optimizational games.
By using the information as pure prioritizing targets and trying to prove the stats wrong every time I am underdog, I get a kick out of that start-informaion.
