Some great play with the Maus. It's amazing how you managed to bounce that IS-7
And also awesome play with the IS-7. Although, how come you bounced T110E4 machine gun? Isn't that supposed to be a weakspot?

It's all about the angles T110 (all of them) machine gun tumor is a weakspot, but it's angled, similar to Foch. While you're facehugging with a low profile tank like IS-7 the angle increases and it becomes a lot harder to penetrate. Similar when you're shooting a lower plate from close distance, but reversed. That's why (I suppose) Kawa shot the turret and later backed up and shot the lower plate instead.

Quite honestly, it's because T110E4 machinegun nest used to be a weakspot, they removed it...
you can't pen that thing even at a distance unless you're using a tier X TD, it bounces gold shells
from Maus (taller than nest).

Really? Did not know that. Is it still a weakspot for E5 and E3?

Not for E3, for E5 the cupola is still a weakspot. On E3, even the 270mm pen on IS-7 can't pen the machinegun nest. Instead you have to hit the commander port on the right side (left on your camera) to pen it at point blank range.

Really? Did not know that. Is it still a weakspot for E5 and E3?

Surely is for E5 (tried it yesterday with my VK4502B), but not sure for the other one.

I'm quite busy nowdays lazy, and I'm grinding one of the worst lines in game (object 263 line). As a player who heavily relies on terrain and angles, driving a tank with pretty good firepower but the 2 worst gun depressions in game (-4 and -2 on SU-100m and SU-101) makes my life somewhat hard. The relatively low pen on their guns and low alphas also make them ill suited for sniping anything armored unless you're willing to spam gold, whom I'm not.
