Re: Never Give Up Even With No Ammo
Because you where shooting rather small caliber HE shells and aiming for the tracks of the T1, which work as spaced armor since 8.6. HE shells usually start being effective with bigger caliber, e.g. 105mm and above. In this case the tracks absorbed all damage. Shooting the upper rear part of the tank would have been a better target. Some more considerations:Xenasys wrote:

- you have taken a lot of shots with small or no chance to hit, which is kind of a waste of shells considering the limited amount of shells the Stug can carry
- APCR seems to be your default ammo and you fired all of them straight at the beginning, which is again waste of this "special purpose" ammo; usually you keep it for moments where extra high penetration is required
- you carry 8 HE shells which is not effective as the 7,5/L70 with AP is doing better in almost any situation; HE is usually only used to secure a cap reset; 2 HE and 6 AP shells would be imho a better choice
