Nice find. Hopefully we will see many SGTA platoons in this one. I thinks there's no point in organizing anything big for this, since it's only 3-man platoons. Everyone should find their regular platoon mates, right?

I think it might be his timezone (denmark) which is CET but I opened an account on Highflyers forum to ask that and will post the reply here.

I have no regular platoon mates so just want to offer my help to fillup a team.

Please read carfully in Highflyer's event discription: KV-1s 122mm not allowed also no derp guns. in general.

Also interessted teams should have a look at the map selection because there are Swamp and Komarin in it which I and many others here might have never seen.

So if a team needs someone or some crazy ideas like bringing a tripple TOG platoon to this event (without derp guns possibly not the worst idea   ) are born I am also up for this

I think for me the only suitable one is the VK3601 or not preferred, the JagdPz IV and VK3001 D

First SGTA platoon for this event has signed up!
Streetsahead, Tecuani and me.

So if somebody else is joining it would be nice to have some training rooms before the contest to work on tank setups and tactics a bit or also if some of you are willing to help us trying to prepare for this contest it would be much appreciated.
We did some work today including the swamp map tour lesson of rancidpunk (thanks) which is one of the maps for the contest, testing on possible tank setups and tooned around a bit in randoms.

If you are interessted I think it will be great fun and also a better learning experience to have another SGTA/SGTA2 platoon participating
and signing up for the contest did not hurt so far

Just to give an end to this topic this was the result:


Hopefully blacky, vallu and rancid don't kill me for this but as you see their enemies went to the finals and ours where in a SU-100, an AT-8 and a Hellcat so they where doable with a tripple Hellcat setup.

Also if you consider of taking place in upcomming events consider the Chaffee for you tactics because with the decent view range (without equipment 400m) and the awesome DPM they are really dangerous at least against a team of hellcats.

Thanks to everybody taking the time to practice with us for this event. I hope they had also fun with this event and ofcourse special thanks to Flash64 for jumping in for Tecuani on short call.

I hope everyone watched the beginning of HF's stream to see how pro-players prepare for a tournament

You forgot to mention that the team we lost to was 100% Finnish, no wonder we lost! Our team was only 33% Finnish...

I am so not commenting on this, but i am still a bit annoyed that we didnt win. The last game should have been ours
