8.8 Matchmaking System

I didn't know that 112 and T-34-3 get special matchmaking. I'm tempted to buy a 112 now...

And for some reason it's colour coded as a medium?

I think the 112 matchmaking is flawed...considering it's a tier 10 heavy which has a maximum matchmaking tier of 9 LOL.

112 is a t8 premium heavy. 113 is a t10 heavy.

I am skeptical about the 112 being given preferential matchmaking, but time will tell.

I would describe it as an overall better IS-6.

Nothing like the Type. Well a little bit, maybe. Different armour (bit worse), less gun depression, much more alpha and aim time, worse accuracy, less rof, less pen. Only mobility is about the same. I prefer the Type to be honest.

What is this 11th and 12th battle tier?

11 and 12 is only to balance the tier 9 and 10 tanks (and high tier scouts) for the matchmaking system as far as I've read some where.

But somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Tier 11 and 12 are simply there to complete the highest tier's "difficulty". The basic tier spread is -2 to +2. However, there's no +2 for 10, as its the highest tier. If they wouldn't have tiers 11 and 12, a tier 10 would face (assuming full random spread):

33% Tier 8's, 33% tier 9's, 33% tier 10's. That is very nice for the tier 10's, but not very fair to the tier 8's. Because the tier 8 has a spread from tier 6 to 10 (-2 to +2). That should roughly equal to:
20% tier 6's, 20% tier 7's, 20% tier 8's, 20% tier 9's, 20% tier 10's. But... we just said 33% tier 10's, if the tier 10's didn't have an 11th and 12th battletier! So a tier 8 would get:
17% tier 6's, 17% tier 7's, 17% tier 8's, 17% tier 9's, 33% tier 10's.... would you like to be a tier 8 then?
So, tiers 11 and 12 are to spread out the tier 10's over a higher amount of battles with more tier 10's and 9's

Basically

10=t8-10 tanks in battle
11=t9-10 tanks in battle
12=t10 tanks in battle

No problem

It could go either ways. They are currently weighing the financial potential of 3 options. Although the repeat of the Type 59 is unlikely, it will possibly be something akin to a rota of availability.
