Which one do you suggest i get for the Tier 7-8 ?
Cheerio
depends on what u have now, and what u like to play ect. imho the best tier 7 by far is T29 (wich can battle wel against higher tiers and is on discount now) tier 8 depends a bit, there isnt one wich sticks it head out as much as the T29 on tier 7

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
I can supply my T32, IS-3 and M12 for T7-8; or my usual Kv-1s for T6.
But before I can subscribe beneath this, have we at least rough idea how it will be time demanding. For example something like: at least 2h a day for TCs as training, 1h of CW battles and then 0,5-1h in training room to recap our performance?
Will we do more toon training for designated task forces like: for defending strategic points against superiority, driving in group (especially different terrain, movement in city), not mentioning advanced strategies like shielding.
And are we at the point when we act like a team with one head? Like following orders without questioning our survivability or decisions where we are and where we go, etc.

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
I'll be very busy and traveling for work a lot in the coming months, so regrettably I won't be able to take part.
Shame, I would have loved to have been a part of this.

Basically look at preferred Champion TC tanks for a good indication such as IS-3, T32, 110, 50 100 and AMX 13 90.
Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
@flash Basically the tanks that Monty mentioned, although the AMXs need experienced players. T32 could be a good choice also because then you would have T29 for when we run out of t8s. But IS-3s and 110s are the ones we will be using mostly.

I was just about to post this. As you can see from the battle schedule it will be very hectic 10 days, so everyone joining needs to committed.
Edit:Wait, does this mean I have to buy low tier tanks?

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
id be interested myself, no doubt there are better players to choose from but all the same, i do have my moments . By then I should have a tank in every tier (T110e5 within a week) so flexible.

Indvidual skills are much less important in CW. Strong team work and a good commander are the most vital aspects. Of course player skill does have an influence, but a team of average players is more than capable of winning if they are disciplined and well lead.

Cool, in that case, im more keen. Having never taken part in a clan war..... im now assuming a similar scenario to tank companies, in which case id imagine a very good chance of doing well considering the commanders we have in our midst.

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
Hello guys,
I have some questions:
People like me that doesn't have tier X or IX, could also participate? For what I understand I could for the first stages.
It should be good that for the lower tier told us which tanks will be better to have, mostly to have the crew and the equipment ready for battle.
Thank you.
Count me in.

well, you can always rely on my TC tanks from all ranges, Ding (JTC, MTC, CTC and tier Xs). Will get the IS-3 back some day as well.

The way I read the rules I believe you can participate in lower stages only and still win good rewards.

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
I am a bit with mixed feelings, Yes, i want to take part of this (bc it sounds fun). No, bc it means a lott of dedication and time, and since i come home from work WoT is relaxation and not a must to play....
So, if there is a permanent team, skip me.... if it is on loose base, sure i am in. Also, my highest tier is 8, no tanks at 9 and 10 atm (may not even happen at all btw..)

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
In order to give the academy members who may wish to take part, is there a preferred list of tanks at each level please? Im thinking the sooner we know, the sooner we can get the tanks and most importantly get used to them and build a crew for them with some skills/perks?
as no doubt every memebr will not have every tank, we could maybe build a list of players/tanks that we already have in the garage. just a thought mind.

Re: SGTA Clan Wars Campaign
The SGTA Staff will have a meeting this Sunday to discuss the CW Campaign. So you can expect more news on Monday about preferred tanks, trainings and so on.
For the first stage you only need tanks from tiers 1-6 and you can still win gold, medals and even the tier 10 medium.
Now, I never played CW myself, but I've been asking annoying questions from those who have. The CW games will be each evening at varying times. There will be "Special Battle" (or something like that) popping up for clan members. Field commanders can command the teams and others join in. There is no sign up like there is for tournaments, everyone doesn't have to join every battle, only thing we need to make sure is that we have enough tanks. That is if this works the same as before. As I said more news next Monday.
Maps are same as in randoms. All maps, even those not in circulation in randoms, will be played. So Dragon Ridge, Swamp and others are there. Maps depend on the province.
Most of this for the FCs to worry about. Members joining only have to make sure they show up for the trainings and CWs with right tanks. These will be announced later.

That sounds good.
I will wait for the news then, and try to earn some credits to be prepared
Thank you.
