PointyHairedJedi - I like big tanks, and I cannot lie
Introduction, introduction... lessee, I live in Scotland, I like playing with tanks. I've signed on as a student to try and improve my gameplay, but at the end of the day, if it stops being fun I won't do it anymore. I try and have a sense of humour about things too, and recognise that it is just a game, and however poorly someone else might be playing, that's someone somewhere trying to have fun too, even if they might be the sort of person that's their own obstacle to improvement (and thus, more enjoyment of the game).
So far I've had the most fun with heavies, particularly the various incarnations of the Churchill for some reason. Scouting I've recently discovered to be a lot of fun too, primarily stemming from the impulse purchase of the ELC AMX (not true scout, I know) - stick a big gun on an F1 racecar, and suddenly enjoyment ensues it would seem. Meds, the one I've enjoyed most has been the VK3601, soon to become a heavy, so we know why that is then I suppose; arties and tank destroyers I play a little of, but really don't consider to be my ouvre.
As far as armaments go, I'll take a decent-pen pew pew gun over a doomstick anyday... though sometimes it's good to derp.
I don't know what else to say.... perhaps, be excellent to each other? Oh, and never start a land war in Asia.

You've just summed up the wisdom of 3 thousand years in one line...

Two of my best matches so far - I'll try and get a few more uploaded as time goes by.

As requested! Some high comedy with a pair of Type 59s; skip ahead to about the 5 minute mark (which is about when I noticed that the rest of the team had folded like a.... really easily folded thing). Submitted the replay to the video converter site, but I probably won't see that until next month given how long it takes.

I recently attained a pinnacle of big-tankness by buying my long sought after KV-4. Today, I do believe I fell in love with it.
11.3k potential damage recieved. I have attained tank-vana.

61 hits received? Wow. My best is in Centurion, 46 (there was Luchs with a machine gun).

It was something like 2 T32s, and a bunch of lower tier (7 & 6) pinging me over and over. I could post the replay, but it wasn't that thrilling - I just had no idea I'd taken that many hits.
