List for new Team Battle Mode

Hi guys, I created a list of the people interested in the new mode from this thread(https://sgta.forumotion.com/t1043-looking-players-for-team-battle-aka-7-42) and listed the tanks they have available. If your tanks arent named yet or you are interestd too, just state the tanks you have available please!

The most used/preferred tanks are going to be:
T1
AMX 13 90
AMX 50 100
Is3/110
T69

and to a bit lesser degree:
Pershing
T32

Those tanks cover most setups but I have also seen objects 416, wz132 and even Jagdpanther 2() been used...
But I am going to take out the T71, its basically just a waste of a tier point for that mode and I think the focus should be on tier 8 tanks!

I forgot to tell you that I have T71 aswell.

T1 as well ( if needed)

Grinding my arse off atm to get to the AMX 50 100. Halfway through ARL 44 now.

T69 (no crew, can borrow one from T54E1)

I have never played 7/42 either, but I think I know the most used tanks.

I also have a 2 skill Invisitraktor.

Does anybody knows when that will be (roughly).

Just so i know how much time I have left to grind that AMX

You can bring tanks max tier 8 tanks, for a total of 42 points.

With the normal maps and full tier 8 tanks, we will not know where the enemy is coming. We will be spread too thin if we try and cover all flanks. And we will be reduced to pure defensive stance - and if the enemy spearheads their troops... ouch.
Therefore, tierI's who can scout / cover a flank to intel comes in very handy.

If the battle rages, they can even start to cap to add extra pressure on the opposition. (or maybe WIN!!!)

To do that, they must be as stealthy as possible, therefore camo-skills etc.

On another note, since there are fewer guns in this gamemode, burst-damage comes in handy. That is what makes the autoloaders quite interesting in this sort of battle. Fire full clip, retreat, then rinse-repeat.

Just calculated a setup:
3x AMX 50 100 = 24 tierpts.
2x AMX 13 90 = 16 tierpts.
2x T1 cunningham = 2 tierpts.
Total of 42 tierpoints - and 7 players. (making it a 7/42 setup)
Im not saying the setup is best nor one we can do - just an idea (may be too weak armorwise).

Just read through this post someone else had found on wot-forums - they give a good pointer to setups and preferred tanks. (As one notes, you might even see TD's in this).

It is one of the setups we used earlier. It plays like hit n run. You go in empty your clips, focus down the other 50 100s while trying to keep yours alive at the same time and run away for the reload.
Usually the 5 tier 8 +2 tier 1 is the most used one.
We also used a tier 8 arty sometimes but back then the T92 was still tier 8 Not sure about a decent arty these days.

I'v seen in the last few pro league (WGLNA http://www.wglna.com/ , WoT Pro League http://www.wotproleague.com/ , WoT Golden League http://wgleague.ru/ ) matches/rounds/match days on some maps they were used Panther II with great result.

We had great fun yesterday messing around with the new mode on the testserver.

Since we needed a kind of universal team as we did not know the maps beforehand, this setup worked quiet nice:
2x 50 100
1x 13 90
1x T69
1x T69/ Rheinmetall Waffelträger
2x T1
Ofc it was just a small number of matches and against some troll teams but it is a valid combination imo
Can't wait for 8.9 to hit.

My T1 doesn't have a full 1st skill yet. Crew is at smt like 180% (So 100% crew, 80% first skill)

I would also like the opertunity to join in if one arises.

Not sure what tanks to list.
