Ronin's Replays

Because i tried playing today and it was horrible till now (5x weekend) i thought i will make a replay thread to show that you guys help me a lot on improving my playstyle. Suggestions, tips and tricks are always welcome.

My first replay is a nice scouting run on El-Halluf after jedi's scout training which helped me a lot.
I survived and got a 1446 spotting damage which is not to bad for a noob like me ;-)
I know i should not have shot on the big ones because it does not help

For how I sucked before some training on heavies this is a big step forward:

I know my Panzer 4 Schmalturm stats still are bad but i think i'am getting better with it:

Why Ronin's avatar says 'Wolf Man' in Chinese? D:

In chinese i don't know but in japanese (kanji) it should be "wave man" translated (wikipedia) but it is more inspired by the legend of the 47 Ronin I stumbled accross while learning shotokan karate (but i only got the 1. kyu => no black belt till now ... working on it) and had a look at history, legends and a bit of the cultural background of japan. I liked the idea behind it (well in first place it's "bad" because of being around revenge) for me it stands for patience, beeing consequent, stick to your personal values but not at all costs and not the values you are dictated by the society. I know this is just my own interpretation. I read much about samurai and their codex (hagakure) but i don't agree with several points of it, also i do not agree with the ways it is tried to transfer to the modern time as done in management trainings and stuff.
I started using the name ronin on the internet (and games) at a point in my life where it was a bit more turbulent so that the "wave man" part also worked

a nice one i had while tier 1 crew training with ABCWarrior and STS in my T1 Cunningham exposing one of my favorite spots on that map for tier 1 and 2 showing how effective it could be and a little stunt at the end:
Tier 1 T1 Cunningham

another seal clubbing/aka Clan wars tier 1 crew leveling "highlight". This was the match where i tried the basic gun for the Loltraktor (3,7 cm KwK 36/L46,5) over 2 loses with the other ones. Result:
Ace Tanker LolTraktor and top gun 9 kills

My opinon on how to use a T2Light on Himmelsdorf. A thrilling T2 Light game where I think I got close to the max possibilites of this little awesome tank and still a defeat because of some little mistakes I made (preserve more of my hp, map awareness, keep calm and ffs aim):

yes thanks for pointing that the first replays don't work. They were on mwreplays which is not available anymore i have to find them again and upload them on wot replays.

Well spotted. I realized quickly afterwards but was too lazy to correct my mistake

I think i start to learn how to handle the KV-1s a bit better:

Almost Top Gun, 100% hit rate, 2,2K damage dealt and 0 damage received.

The most awesome part for me is the hit rate ;-)

I think not the worst scouting battle (for a random) I ever had in the T-50.
In Platoon with Opa_Apo trying to do anything an active scout should do: spotting, counter scouting, distracting (don't know why the T-150 thought am such a big threat  ) and hunt the arty

And while waiting for the T-50's come out of a battle we did some KV-1 battles. And this was my first Brothers in arms (i know i am a heavy noob ;-) ) and Opa_Apo did very well also getting top gun:

Keep those moments in memory. If they keep the T-50 like it currently is on the test server, patch 8.7 will totally kill this famous little scout (ZIS-8 removed, current stock engine V-4 becomes highest engine available). Feels like an A-20 now.  

Yes i read about it ... and it is a very sad thing ... because the T-50 (i don't own the T-50-2 so i don't know) is one of the tanks in this game i got the most fun in.
So first arty out now scouts out ... it seems it gets World of Heavy Tanks what i don't really like.

Well, there are always changes and if we are honest, a good number of them keep the game interesting, even if not everyone likes everything. But as far as arty is concerned, I have tested the british SPG line from tier 6 to 10 and ... they were really fun to play. Good mobility which allows tactical movement, excellent horizontal gun arc, most of them seem to have a mortar type gun with high shell trajectory. I think the british line can restore some of the fun that arty players have lost with 8.6.

Nice one in KV-1 (Derp KV-1's still alive):
Mines, Top Gun, Steelwall, Sniper AND 80K profit!!

Ok it's event profit but still nice for a none premium tank.

But the good part: for my first T49 game i think i did well the peek a boo i liked and for a first game I am ok with my personal result but about the positioning i am not sure.

for me the team you play with was completely failer ( when half of heavy camp at base and one of td rush in open space there is no way you could win.)

but normally in this map top tier heavy ( with 1 or max 2 fast MT or TD with good gun) will go left side and lower tier and td camp at base ( better td camp somewhere in middle for covering left side also )this way there is a chance for wining .

ps :
you are lucky at first you didn't spoted.
if pz 3/4 would go to G8 and had bino at the first min you will be spot and be killed very fast ( don't take cover in bush - take cover bh bush)

yes you are right and i rely to much on the camo net and the 90% camo crew ... besides after watching it again i should have switched position earlier to somewhere else my only luck was that there were always some guys closer of our team to shoot at.

There are guys that did much better than me but I am a TOG noob ;-)

A nice hellcat game when you keep in mind that this was my 7th. The end was really really awesome played by all players left on our team. Also I liked the invisible shit comment of an enemy player. But I hate the 1/2 line on Prokhorovka because everbody is camping there like bosses which leads normally to the inevitable death of impatient noobs like me.

So here we go:
Hellcat 7th game Prokhorovka 1st Ace Tanke 2462 damage.

Saving the battle in a Hellcat yes I know was lucky because the H35 moved out of the cap and gave me the chance to kill them all and yes i was aware of the KV-1s behind me so the AMX did me a favour by going down there.
