Announcing technical leave
Hi guys,
I am now member for a good time, have learnt a lot, improved my playing skills after all from almost hopeless to fairly average and have still a long way to go. Actually, learning will never stop and SGTA has successfully taken me on the right track of improvement in WoT.
However, the academy is not supposed to be a closed community of long term students. As there is no time limit in membership, every student has to find himself the right time to make room for the people on the waiting list. Even if those have good opportunities to take part in the academy, it's probably easier for an ex-member to stay in the process than it is for an applicant to get in the process.
So far I have seen, things do not change too much for ex-members, they keep their forum account, can take part in trainings and meanwhile the academy channel is also well established due to continuous promotion. What I will finally miss is my SGTA clan tag, which to see in the top of a battle results screen was always a moment of pride for me. Anyway, other people want to live the same, so let's go.
Even though this is basicly a technical leave, it's a good occasion to say thanks to all of you, especially to the staff members and instructors, who keep the academy running with considerable efforts. See you in the class room.

Thank you lostplace,
although we have barely tooned together, it has been a pleasure having people like you in the academy. Making space for others is what is expected from you and is a brave thing to do. As you said, the Academy HQ is there for you, and we are all here as well.
Don't be a stranger.

Hey dude, if you are missing that feekling of 'belonging' make sure you stay in the Academy HQ, which is a great place to be and always has people online.
if you want a cool clan ag to replace your SGTA one, you can join my new clan, WJDE (We just Dinged 'Em) which is a clan for random/platoon battles only, it also comes with a snazzy logo.
Lemme know if interested and all the best for the future.
