Crew training and retraining
As I ve noticed on several discussions in the academy HQ channel there might be many people not knowing much about the whole training/retraining crew stuff so here is a short video made by QB (I know you can like him or not but his game knowledge is good) about retraining and reskilling a crew for a different tank and what happens to already achived crew XP.

The things he did not mention are:
-- you can retrain for free (so also without silver) which results in an even bigger loose of experience => %of last learned crew skill drops even further
-- you can retrain for gold (200 per crew member) where the crew member keeps his whole XP =>% of last learned crew skill remain on the same level.
-- Same is the case if you just retrain the skills and perks on the same tank.
If you are not in a hurry to retrain your crew wait for a 50% crew training off weekend. I think there is one almost every month. I don't know if this is also the case for silver retraining because I am a gold noob but possible somebody else knows.
Also I think this "economical" side of World of tanks might be a bit of weakpoint in our ciriculum/lessons or I missed the World of Tanks economics lesson. At least this would be somewhat boring
As on all my posts corrections and additions are always welcome.

Yes, discounts in crew training apply to both silver and gold.RoninRage wrote:
