I am the admissions officer of the clan.

There is also one more condition to be met prior to you joining the clan. You need to have at least 1000 battles under your belt, as you need to have at least some Tier V and VI (minimum) in order to joinn classes. There are some basic techniques that do not apply in the lower Tiers and we need the students to be able to participate in classes demonstrating these techiniques. This is the reason.

Therefore, once you edit your application and add the reasons you want to join for, start making your way to 1k battles and let us know when you are there and I will send you an invite. If you wish to find people to platoon with in lower tiers, just join the AcademyHQ channel ingame and ask for people to platoon with by specifying the tiers you wish to platoon in.

You will find more details about these things on the Anouncements section of the forum, especially on the thread "How things work Here" (It's a global announcement).

Why are you applying to SGTA: Because I am looking for a clan that offers me to learn how to play WoT better, the clan that I am currently in isn't offering anything to become better unless you count unregular Team Companies. Now and then I feel that I am just playing too terrible, I don't watch my stats to see that I am playing bad. I am also interrested in platooning with others.

Because i want to improve..sorry, i know, i know
Actually i want to join because i think playing with good team makes me feel more balanced in my gameplay and i tend to make less mistakes, because i don't have to worry as much if my fellow comrade got my back or not as well as it's easier to develop an atack strategy with a good team.
Also i think better players knows all the tricks and quirks about this game and i would really like to learn from them.
And of course there is a fun factor involved, since it's always much more fun to play with a clanie than with some random guy.
Also PLATOONS - now that's a good thing

I really struggle to play WoT, I play it using my phone mobile connection, so I don't know if I will be able to use
the TS channel, because my phone connection is only 8 KB/s.

I am the admissions officer of the clan. We greatly appreciate your interest in our clan, the only problem is that you need to have at least 1k battles before you join the clan. There are many resons for this. The first is that you need to get some experience on your own from the game in order to grasp and understand some very basic concepts by yourself, which are not covered by our curiculum.

The second reason is that what is taught here applies above Tier V tanks, we would therefore like our students to have at least a couple of Tier V and/or a couple of Tier VI tanks in their garage prior to joining the clan. Most things that are taught in the clan, mostly apply above Tier V.

I will gladly accept your application once you have hit the 1k battles milestone. when you do so, there is no need to create a new application topic, just send a reply on this one notifying us that you have the battlecount required and I will send you an invite for the clan.

Just so you're aware (and I don't mean to be offensive in any way), I do hope you know 95% of Unicum players are only unicums due to platooning with equally good players all the time right? There is actualyl very few PROPERLY good unicum players who made that statistics by themselves.

If you read the post in question, you will also find instructions on how to join the AcademyHQ channel. You can join it and seek for platoonmates there depending on the tier you want to grind. This will make your 300 battles prior to joining a lot easier.

How did You hear about SGTA?: I platooned a while ago with mutteri and a member of your clan, Xerogen. This was the first time I've heard about your clan. My interest in your clan was raised by your recruiting thread in the offfical WoT forums.
Why are you applying to SGTA: I want to explore the tactical challenges of WoT with new platoon mates and Tank Companies. I'm a breaking point where I enjoy playing my VK 16.01 Leopard, but on the other hand having trouble with a dedicated combat tank like the Tiger. I hope to improve my gameplay and pull my own weight while contributing to the team's success, instead of being too reliant on my teammates. After reading your clan information I think your clan will be the right place to achieve my goals in a friendly, supportive athmosphere, while contributing to yours after an "apprenticeship".

Match Played : ... not sure what this means.. but enjoy platoons and companies, played a few clan battles with other clans, but they were awful, poor tactics, entered wrong class of battle for types of tanks, i.e t10 battle with t8 tanks etc.
How did You hear about SGTA?: Bumped into McNeto and his platoon, enjoyed the chat and battle.
Why are you applying to SGTA:
I want to improve my skills, and get involved with platoons and company battles, maybe clan wars etc. I have reasonable skills, 10k games, good team player, but struggle in publics, mostly due to being teamed up with 14 people who don't play together.
Have TS or Ventrilo, have been gaming for 10years plus, been in a couple of clans, one for 8years, still friends with the guys now.
