Sign up to this thread to attend. TS is mandatory. Hopefully I can get my mic working this time!
Since the clan's TS server is down, how do you plan to use TS for this class?

Bollocks! This was today? *mumble*
Being on sick leave from work really messes up the calendar... Anyway, I went to the big outside, to the movies with a friends, and had a blast. Hope to be able to join the next time!

Nope, the basic arty course is seperate, and it's very very basic (30 mins max). Its more aimed at those who barely know how to go into arty view, let alone actually shoot anything.
One thing we didnt do was trying to shoot moving targets, but we can cover that in the next lesson.

Civvy or military? Those bloody flying types, always breaking our nice shiny cabs
Up until 0200hrs this morning with a Greenie snag and I'm not a Greenie! a/c flew this morning on time though. I'm Civi on a military contract (West Scotland BUTEC & Hebs Ranges, if you are exmil) Was an WO2 ATO in Brit Army. Now when I fix things I hope the come back! Nick name comes from my skills: TrogEng = Troglodyte Engineer.

I have only one suggestion Monty. Fix your mic before next lesson, its hard to keep attention of students with text messages (a specially with duo BoosB and Vallu around). I think moving target is a bit part of basics as there are only to types of targets you normaly shoot moving and stationary (low tiers move a lot). Counter arty, scout defence and relocate is part of advanced.

My brother is an AT, currently a Sgt serving at Kineton. I served in the RAF as an Armourer so yes I'm aware of BUTEC and the term @greenie'
Dae,
I fully agree with you about the mic, completely my bad and I will make sure I have a better one for the next lesson. My poor fingers are aching this morning! I also agree with the moving target bit, I'll move that to basics, as its the first time I presented the course I hope it wasn't too disjointed I learnt quite a bit from it
Also, having some of the staff fooling about didn't help maintain peoples concentration but to be fair they calmed down when I told them off
I still think it was useful (I hope) and that people learnt from it
Re: Thursday 9th May 18:00 UTC Advanced Artillery [COMPLETED]
Moving target practice? I can safely say I was moving all the time and there was few people who shot me! lol

Hi Monty!
It even without a working mic was really interesting. I learnd a lot! So you did a great job for your first training.
Just one point i think it was almost too much information in a short time for someone who has not done several battles in an arty before ... but on the otherhand it was declared as advanced.
Thanks for the session!

Thanks for the feedback mate I agree its a lot to take in, new players would be better off attending the basic course
If you or any of the other guys have any questions about what we covered let me know in game and we can do some training if I'm free.
Cheers
