Truth is, my tactics often involve scouts having to go by themselves and at the same time perform scouting runs. This is very difficult if you have no support in a scout.

The reason why we make such a hype about it is this role is really supposed to be unenviable as most people don't survive to the end in the scout role, as nobody but the very best scouts can perform their scouting orders and survive under my command in TC. It's not that nobody wants to play the role in reality (in fact, many people do...as if you manage to perform your orders properly and survive in my TCs as scout, then that's about as hard as scouting will get for you). We just joke about the idea that nobody wants the role that's all lol!

We don't want to be scaring you out of the role lol! It's really not that bad if you want to learn, and I NEVER criticize (except constructively) for a scout's death if he/she does indeed die.

Tried speaking in platoons (btw thank you guys for your time, really enjoyed playing with you) and I must say, my "accent" is horrible. It's not even proper accent, it's just a bunch of mumbled words with no proper pronunciation My own ears bled from it Though when I read something aloud it sounds much, much better, believe me.
And all those words I know just magically disappear, and I'm left with "yeah", "i think" and "okey" with unnatural intonations. This is not ok. I'll try to overcome it somehow

The sound of your own voice (unless you're Dutch and consequently fond of hearing yourself talk ) is always a bit creepy. You will get used to it quite soon.

Wait untill you listen to the Greek beta nab that talks like a taverna-owner, the finnish master kilstealer who talks like a drunk moose from lapland, the Croatian Dracula who talks like a Dalmatian Kifla baker, the scouser who talks, well, like a scouser, the german noob who talks like a humming bee, the "flounder" of the clan who talks like a chinese lost in Ireland and the list is endless.

Some of these people have never talked in English with anyone before joining the game, they actually improved their English by communicating with other ppl in the clan. One of them even "thinks" that he has improved so much that is now commenting videos on youtube. Go figure!

In other words, just let go, no one will judge you over your accent here, (maybe, just maybe the official clan troll may tease you a bit but it is always done in a nice way), in the contrary we will have a good laugh!

The most used "word" in American English is "ummmm". Just watch any interview with an American. Thus, if you make a lot of strange noises while on ts, just say you tyr for an American accent

you can also say "mmmmmmmkaayy!" before every sentence as well as "it's like .... yeah" and "he/she is like you know" and turn every phrase into a question. That should convince people too.

Example: Instead of saying: "WoT is one of the best games I have ever played" you say:

"ummmmm, mmmkay, WoT is like THE Best game ever yeah? mkay?"

Other example: proper English: "My name is Kate"

retard english: " My name is ummmm like Kate you know?

Well I think that this kind of gives you a hint on how to speak with a retarded american accent but never forget, as a wise man once said, "Never go full retard!"
