SGTA Anniversary

Hey guys!

Did you know on 6th May it will be exactly 1 year since the founding of SGTA? As founder of SGTA I must say in 1 year we not only made tremendous changes but also huge progress! It is a very different academy to the one I founded almost a year ago with the first 10 disciples (one of which trundled off in rage...this has strange comparisons with something...). Still, it wouldn't even have got off the ground if it wasn't for past and present members. So I say thank you to you all and hope you still enjoy the academy and it's people still as much as when you joined!

Anyways, to celebrate the 1 year anniversary I thought I'd do something totally fun and random!

I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10000. You guys just need to give a reply to this thread with a number between 1 and 10000 (inclusive...let's make it fun lol), oh and no decimal numbers lol. Whoever guesses the number closest to the number I'm thinking of wins 2500 gold!

The only hint I will give to which number I have in my mind is: It's my favourite number... cloning itself...

In the unlikely event more than one person get's this number spot on... then the first person to reply gets the prize.

Righteo...anyways, to participate you must be:

1) A member of SGTA OR
2) An ex-member of SGTA OR
3) On the academy waiting list until 6th May.

1 year, that's quite something. And it has changes quite a lot, many times even. I still remember what it used to be like in the early days, feels like yesterday With the current interest we should be able to make it to 2nd and 3rd anniversary easily!

I want to say thank you to all the great people I had the pleasure to met, you made SGTA what it is right now.
A great community of like-minded people who have fun playing and who have fun learning together

4 is actually the number for the worst luck in Chinese...people avoid it like the plague.

Because the pronunciation for 4 in Chinese is very close to the pronunciation for that of the word 'death'. You will never see car licence plates with the number 4 and in some apartment block they remove the number 4 from elevators... so you have floor 3 and then floor 5. Floor 5 is just essentially floor 4.

Happy Birthday SGTA!!!

Due to the fact i'm in the academy for a short time I learned much (helped me to push my aweful kv-1 winrate of around 42% to almost 50% till my hardcore kv-1 to T-150 grind weekend) had a lot of fun (BoosB's Junior TC's, Ding throwing arties at enemies in experimental Medium TC's, learn how to be a better scout and possibly survive or not *G*... and lots more!).

So keep up this awesome work to the whole team and a big thank you for your patience and efford in teaching us!
